Our National Day Activities

The fun and excitement will extend way beyond the daytime activities. The open-air stage area and the Fun Zone are the most popular places to be in the evening for great food, entertainment and family fun! We’ve lined up special shows and activities to keep you and the family entertained this National Day, scheduled between 23rd and 25th of September from 6:00 pm to 11:00pm.

Evening Activities

There’s fun for all this National Day at no additional cost. We have an exciting line-up of fun activities: from participation games, colouring & painting and testing your skills to hand crafts, singing Saudi National Songs and a Tannoura show. We will also host a traditional band on National Day from 8pm – 11pm to add to the celebratory atmosphere. It’s a win-win scenario for the family. You get to relax and the kids get to be active physically and mentally. It’s an offer you can’t afford to miss out on.

And if that’s not all, whether you are young or merely young at heart, you will find sporting and leisure activities to keep you entertained from sunrise to beyond sundown. Exciting New Water Park within Dana Bay

Loopagoon, a ‘ladies & kids only’ water park has officially opened. It is the first major water park of its kind in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia featuring an exciting mix of rides, slides and attractions. As guests at Dana Beach Resort, ladies and kids will enjoy the privacy and easy access to the water park with our trained associates to deliver five-star service and safety for its guests. In-house guests of Dana Beach Resort will be eligible for a special discounted price of SR120 per person (tickets are available from reception) while children under the age of 3 will be entitled to complimentary access.

The water park features an exciting mix of attractions, including 11 unique state of the art rides, slides and attractions from one of the world’s leading manufacturers. Whether you want to float and relax, get your adrenaline pumping or simply watch your children splash around; you can do it all at Loopagoon Water Park. Loopagoon will also cater to its young guests with its Spray Pad and gigantic Kids’ Play Structure (KPS). The Spray Pad will be perfect for toddlers and young ones not yet comfortable with slides and pools and will feature an enormous bucket splashing water across the entire attraction every couple of minutes and seven distinct slides twisting around a central, spray filled play structure like a giant octopus.

Getting Around

Discover the resort at leisure in our Club Cars. It’s an ideal way for families to get around together. Pick a bicycle or scooter for a fun and healthier way to get around or enjoy a chilled pace exploring on foot. Whichever way you choose, it’s bound to be fun, but make sure to wear a hat and use sun protection. 

Fun Zone

The Fun Zone includes inflatable games and bumper boat rides, an open-air stage with daily live shows and the petting zoo where kids can get up close with the antelopes, ducks and emus. And if you’re a thrill seeker, head to our ATV desert track terrain and Go Karting track. Enjoy the pleasures of horse riding, going around in a horse drawn carriage or keeping fit and working out in our health clubs to feel great and look your best.

Private Pools

Privacy is one of our principal offerings and this extends to a private pool for you and your family to enjoy private family time. We have three pools – one which is temperature controlled to your requirements – available for you and your loved ones to splash about it and large enough for you to swim laps. All private pools come with their own washrooms and showering facilities, along with towels, sunbeds and umbrellas.

The stunning water of Half Moon Bay is home to all types of water activity. Whether you want to enjoy a family boat ride, sit back and relax on a lazy sailboat cruise to explore the bays and enjoy the scenic views, or enjoy the thrill of a speedboat or jet-ski ride, you will find an activity just right for you and the family.

Take to the seas onboard a traditional dhow and sail through the azure waters of Half Moon Bay and enjoy some of the finest views. 

Special Celebratory Meals at Al Sayyad

A celebration of this proportion deserves special meals that’s equally grand. It’s the very reason we’ve put together a special National Day spread at Al Sayyad restaurant:

Celebrations start the night before (22 September) where we will have a seafood buffet for in-house guests only from 7pm – 11pm, priced @SR220/ for adults, SR/110 for kids excluding VAT and complimentary for kids under the age of 6. Advance bookings will qualify for a 20% discount.

A daily brunch and dinner buffet from 23^rd to 25^th September will include a sumptuous selection of delicacies hosted in Al Sayyad Restaurant, which will include a Kids Section and Authentic Saudi Cuisine @SR180/ for adults and SR90/ for kids excl. VAT.  A different menu will be featured each day.
