Our swimming pools are always a splash hit with the kids, Mums and Dads, especially when it comes to taking the plunge down waterslides, or simply lapping up the good life at poolside. When you stay in our luxurious villas, the pools are complimentary to all our guests.
Keeping the kids happy is a top priority. We’ve games galore to play and a never-ending round of activities, conjuring up smiles and laughter throughout each and every day. Our super-talented Recreation Team provide a bumper package of fun-filled ideas for the kids, helping free up some quality time for the parents.
Enjoy the pleasures of horse riding, visits to the zoo, breezing about in a club car or on a scooter, trotting around by horse drawn carriage, or keeping fit and taking resort life at a slower pace with a spot of cycling.

FunZone
Play time for the kids
The title says it all – it’s a fun zone and the kids absolutely love it! Designed and purpose built for our younger guests, the Fun Zone never fails to deliver. Complete with inflatable games, bungee jumping, boat rides, bumper boats and cars, ‘bull-riding’ and foot billiards, to name but some of the attractions, the kids have a whale of a time, all under the watchful care of our qualified supervisors. We also have a lovable collection of diverse animals with which the children can interact, as well as a gentle, hand-held horse rides for the kids.
The Fun Zone plays host to our open air stage – a focal point – for top quality family entertainment. Our highly talented Recreation Team engage with the children in a whole host of activities including competitions, face painting and crazy clown acts. It’s a wonderfully engaging experience for children of all ages.

The open air Stage is the most popular place to be for great food, family fun and entertainment! Dine from the Samari Café while our experienced recreation team entertain you with weekend and holiday programs designed to keep the whole family amused.
Programs include fun competitions, crazy clowns, and a variety of entertainment activities that will keep your children on their toes.
Games Room

If you’re not in the water, sunbathing on the beach or on the back of a horse, our Games Room offers indoor entertainment for both adults and children alike.
Overlooking the swimming pool area and located inside the Dana Bay Club, the Games Room is equipped with gaming consoles such as the ever popular PlayStation, as well as hosting traditional favorites like billiards, air hockey and table tennis.

Keeping the wheels spinning
If you fancy something a little more energetic, you and your family can switch to pedal power and go exploring around Dana Bay. Bicycles and tricycles, in a range of different shapes, sizes and guises, are available for hire. Alternatively you could opt for an electric scooter for an easier ride around the Bay area.
Mini Zoo
Making new friends, both furry and feathered
Dana Beach Resort is the place to enjoy the good life, and that extends to getting close up and personal to observe and interact with our resident ‘wildlife’ at the Mini Zoo. It’s an endearing and engaging environment for the children who delight in watching a variety of furry and feathered friends, including; ostriches, camels, goats, ducks and deer to name but some of our animal ‘guests’.

Dana Beach Resort offers a wide range of swimming pools, children’s pools and Jacuzzi is to keep your whole family cool. Whether you would like to swim laps or just splash around, poolside is the place to be.
The kid’s pool is every child’s paradise with a huge water slide as well as a toddlers’ splash pool, and because our pools are always manned by skilled Lifeguards and come equipped with underwater LED color lights, you can rest easy that your family is in safe hands.

Relax on a chaise lounge with a big umbrella, or kick back in a cabana while you watch the palm trees sway on the shores of the Arabian Sea. Poolside Food and Beverage service is offered daily and delivered from our F&B outlets.

Privacy is one of our principal offerings and this extends to a private pool for you and your family. We have three pools – one which is temperature controlled to your requirements – available for you and your loved ones to savor and large enough for you to swim laps.
Well appointed, to provide the solitude you desire, the private pools are ideal for getting away from it all and soaking up quality family time. All private pools come with their own washrooms and showering facilities, along with towels, sunbeds and umbrellas.
The Beach Garden
A place of serenity
The Beach Garden is a beautifully appointed spot where you can sit back, gaze across the shimmering waters of the Arabian Gulf, and soak up a scene of Saudi serenity.
Nestling between Sunset villas and Royal villas, The Beach Garden is filled with different kinds of fruit trees and bordered by palm trees that sway when a welcome breeze shoots down the shoreline of Half Moon Bay. There are even Gazebos placed on the beach where you can sit down & relax with your family.
The Beach Garden is open to all Dana Beach Resort guests on complimentary basis.
